Fusing reason of high-voltage fuse when the circuit passes through overload current and short-circuit current

The main reason why high-voltage fuses fuse when the circuit passes the overload current and short-circuit current is that the selected fuse specifications are incorrect. For the high current protection zone, the selected high-voltage fuse shall have the following performances:

1. Large capacity, generally between tens and hundreds of A;

2. Capable of withstanding instantaneous high current and high pulse;

3. Safe and reliable;

4. The operating ambient temperature is relatively high;

5. Good mechanical properties.

Precautions for use of high-voltage fuse:

1. The protection characteristics of high-voltage fuse shall adapt to the overload characteristics of the protected object. Considering the possible short-circuit current, fuse with corresponding breaking capacity shall be selected;

2. The rated voltage of high-voltage fuse shall adapt to the line voltage level, and the rated current of fuse shall be greater than or equal to the rated current of melt;

3. The rated current of fuse melts at all levels in the line shall be matched accordingly, and the rated current of the previous level must be greater than that of the next level;

4. The melt of high-voltage fuse shall be matched according to the requirements. It is not allowed to increase the melt at will or replace the melt with other conductors.
